That's right I play a contact sport and care enough about my dental work to ensure a beautiful smile!I suppose that in a pinch the Carabiner could be used to help you repel from a tall building too - though I, personally, wouldn't try it. I just wanted something that would keep my mouth guard from getting lost in my bag and this definitely gets the job done.I don't have the problem of the other review of the case randomly opening. It is pretty sturdy for me. The carabiner is a nice touch. Don't know if it is provides actually bacterial protection, but again, its got to be better than a plastic bag.
